Hunter United Brewers have booked a table at The Grain Store to experience a rare opportunity to taste this iconic beer across 10 years of its existence.

We have booked a table for 12, but can update that if needed.  Please make sure you RSVP so we can work with the venue should we need a larger table.

Celebrate 25 Years of Coopers Vintage Ale!

To mark the 25th annual release of Coopers Vintage Ale from Australia’s largest independent brewery, we’re doing something truly special.

We’ll be tapping our carefully cellared keg of the 2015 Vintage Ale, alongside a rare 2020 Vintage Ale keg—generously sourced from Coopers’ own cellar. And of course, we’ll also be pouring the brand-new 2025 25th Anniversary Edition.

Three vintages. One legendary ale. Join us for this exclusive tasting of aged beauties and raise a glass to 25 years of brewing excellence!

No tickets are required, the 3 beers will be on tap from Thursday 12th September.

About Vintage Ale

Coopers Chief Brewer and fifth generation family member Dr Tim Cooper has overseen the making of every Vintage Ale and says the 25th seasonal release is worthy of celebration.

“When we brought out the first Coopers Vintage Ale all those years ago we never suspected it would become such a highly anticipated annual release,” Tim said.

“Each year our brewing team looks to go one better. The bar keeps getting raised and we all truly relish the challenge. We’re confident we’ve come up with a brew that’s unique and fitting for this special 25th annual release.”

The 2025 edition of Vintage Ale features two aromatic New Zealand hop varieties. Peacharine hops deliver heady stone fruit aromas, while the Southern Cross hops add appealing lemon zest and spicy notes.

Drinkers can expect sweet fruit, peach, citrus, pine and spicy characters to feature on the palate. This is balanced out by malt sweetness before finishing with a firm bitterness.

“Vintage Ale is perfect to drink upon purchase or can be cellared to allow the hop characters to soften and the malty characters to develop over time,” Tim said.
